I have stood in your shoes. My life experiences took me down the counselling path, I have been through wonderful and difficult experiences that have shaped who I am and how I can relate to my clients. I have lived through the impact of loss, anxiety, high-performance career stress as well as relationship struggles. I know what it means to experience negative thoughts that drain you of all confidence and self-worth. Counselling was key to my healing journey and so my work always has a deep personal touch and I see it as a privilege to be there for you.
What is Counselling?
Counselling offers you a confidential safe place to talk about current concerns, anything that may be confusing, painful or uncomfortable. It allows you to talk with someone who is professional trained to listen attentively and to help you make healthier life changes. The therapeutic belief is that each of us are unique, however there is always the potential for growth, change and be successful. Some people find it hard to open up to a counsellor, especially if you don’t normally talk about your emotions. After a few sessions if you’re with the right counsellor it gets easier.

What to expect
Counselling is a very personal process. By exploring what’s causing the excessive stress, the anxiety that follows and the low moods, regular sessions enable’s you to clear your outdated beliefs, identify your strengths, build on your successes and develop life time skills and communication with others.

Humanistic counselling has an integrative approach is about free will, self-discovery and achieving your full potential which incorporates a range of therapies. It focuses on you as a unique individual and your relationship with the world around you. Your therapy may be short or long-term, depending on your needs. The approach tailors to the need of the individual in a non-judgmental environment and provide a safe and confidential trusting space to enable you to develop and grow. Each session is personalized to match your explicit and implicit needs. These needs are often fluid and changeable.
