Alcohol Counselling in Essex

Whether you want to cut down, stop or simply understand your relationship with alcohol, you are welcome here, without judgement.

Understanding

How can counselling help with alcohol?

Counselling helps you understand why you drink, what it does for you and what it costs, and supports whatever change you choose.

If you drink heavily, please speak to your GP before stopping suddenly, as this can be dangerous.

You may recognise

  • Drinking to cope with stress or low mood
  • Trying to cut down and finding it hard
  • Hiding or minimising how much you drink
  • Arguments or worry from loved ones
  • Shame or guilt afterwards
  • Anxiety or poor sleep linked to drinking
