Drug Addiction Counselling in Essex

Drug use is often a way of coping with something painful. I offer a confidential space to understand it and find a way forward.

Understanding

How can counselling help with drug use?

Counselling explores what drug or prescription medication use does for you and what it costs, and supports you towards the change you want, whether that is reducing, stopping or staying stopped.

If you are in danger or have taken too much, call 999 or seek urgent medical help.

You may recognise

  • Using to cope, numb or relax
  • Needing more to feel the same
  • Difficulty stopping despite harm
  • Secrecy or shame about use
  • Strain on work, money or relationships
  • Worry about someone else’s use
